BIRN: grants for community-engaged investigative journalism
Media organizations can propose stories developed with audience participation.

BIRN has announced support for registered media organizations from ten countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. The call seeks investigative stories that directly involve the community, especially underrepresented groups.
Individual grants are worth up to 4.700 euros, and cross-border grants up to 9.400 euros. Online training, mentoring and the BE Engaged tool are included. Applications must be submitted in English, along with registration and financial documents.
