Young people handed out white ribbons in support of victims of violence
Students visited local institutions during the 16 Days of Activism campaign.
High school students made white ribbons as a symbol of support for victims of gender-based violence and a message that the community should be safe for everyone.
They then handed out the ribbons to employees and citizens during visits to the hospital, municipality and other local institutions. Vermont thanked the young activists for their empathy and commitment in its post.
